Nasceu em São Paulo, Brasil, se formou professora elementar de Primeiro Grau e lecionou até 1994. Ela sempre teve paixão pela arte,estudou na escola Pan Americana de Artes em São Paulo e começou profissionalmente em 1995 a mostrar suas telas a oleo e seus trabalhos em exposições e convenções.

Dolores é também artesã, trabalha com madeira, cerâmica, papel, bordado, flores e pintura sobre tela.
Ela prefere pintar a oleo no estilo acadêmico,impressionista ou moderno figurativo.
Sua inspiração vem de fotos do Brasil ou jardins e paisagens e de seu favorito animal o cavalo e das frutas tropicais brasileiras.
Dolores trabalhou como Coordenadora e professora de artes do Centro Cultural Brasileiro de Danbury de Agosto de 2003 a Setembro de 2004. Ela é Diretora de Artes e Eventos da ABE ( Aliança Brasileira)de Hartford desde 2004. Ela mora em Danbury onde também dá aulas particulares de pintura em tela.

Biographical Information
Born in São Paulo Brazil ,Dolores Garcia teaching degree, she woked as a teacher until 1994.dolores garcia has had a passion for art all her life. She studied art at the Pan American Art School in São Paulo.She stared to dedicate herself to art in 1995 in shows and convetions,with her pictures in oil painting on canvas and her works.
Description of Artwork
Dolores are artesã and works with wood, glass, porcelin, ceramics, paper, embroidery and painting on canvas.
She preferers oil painting on canvas in the style of academic impressionist or modern figures.
Her inspiration comes fron her own photographs of brazilian or gardens landscapes, her favorite animal the horse and the brazilian tropical fruit.
Dolores worked as a Coordinator and Teacher of Arts at the Brazilian Cultural Center in Danbury CT fron August 2003 to September 2004. She has been working as the Director of de Arts and Events of ABE ( BRAZILIAN ALIANCE) in Hartford since 2004. She lives in Danbury were she also gives private art and panting classes.
